Newcastle United hate me, squeams Liverpool’s Bellamy

Liverpool striker, Craig Bellamy (aged 27), believes that Newcastle hate him and want him to fail.  But is he bothered about it? Not one bit, in fact he’s so not bothered about it that he he’s spoken to the press to tell them that he’s not bothered.
Craig Bellamy (aged 14) decided the best way to [...]

Defoe out, new wonderkid in, the Tottenham Hokey Cokey is Newcastle United’s gain

Tottenham haven’t scored in their last five games, so surely they need to be adding to their strike force not weakening it? On the face of it selling Defoe to Newcastle seems like madness, especially if the money is being used to fund the purchase of yet another midfielder.
But on the other hand, Defoe’s recent [...]

Arsenal and Chelsea - cheap labour?

You have to feel sorry for the Arsenal and Chelsea players.  It can’t be easy trying to set up home in London, but if we are to beleive Ballack and Gallas, living and “working” in London can be a nightmare.
Firstly Ballack tells us that he can’t afford to buy a house in London so he’s [...]

Roeder drowning, not waving, against Everton

Roeder has caused more controversy by waving at his own fans again, only days after being guilty of a similar infringement at Upton Park.  In his defence he says that he was drowning, not waving.
Everton looked lacklustre and tired, but still proved a handfull for a nervous Newcastle, and in reality Everton should have easily [...]

Liverpool’s Bellamy couldn’t score in a brothel, perfect for Tottenham then!

Liverpool v Totteham, 3-0
That scoreline doesn’t tell the whole story.  The first half of this game was open and furious and about equal, the second half saw the miss of the season, followed by the second miss of the season, followed by the collapse of Spurs morale.
Both teams started brightly enough, but Liverpool’s pace up [...]

Curbishley at Tottenham Hotspur by October?

Martin Jol’s day seems to get worse and worse.  Firstly his team proved they couldn’t score in a brothel, then they proved they couldn’t defend in one either.  Then to cap it all off, Curbishley has been quoted as saving he’s looking for a return to management in October.  So does Jol have a month [...]

Challenge Lawro, Big Sams Predictions for the Weekend

As you all know ex-Liverpool player and football pundit, Mark Lawrenson, tries to predict the scores each week, and each week my hamster could do better than him (and I don’t even have a hamster)!
So I’ve decided to see if:
a) I can make better predictions than Lawro, and also,
b) how my fictional hamster fairs against him.
Clearly [...]

Liverpool in new tapping up scandal involving Arsenal star

The BBC has sensationally accused Liverpool of tapping up Arsenal’s favourite son, Thierry Henry.  Apparently they used a young scallywag as a go between.  The FA and EUFA are investigating the incident.  Here is a transcript of the secret video of Mr Henry admitting the approach and his part in it.  It was taken at Bob Wilson’s charity, [...]
