Africa Cup of Nations Begins January 20
Anxiety levels are high as Africa braces itself for another round of Cup of Nations starting January 20, 2008.
After months of preparation, Accra will be the focus of attention on Sunday when the hosts begin their quest for glory by taking on Guinea at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
The game will mark the first of 32 across four of Ghana’s major cities including Kamasi, Tamale, Sekondi-Takoradi and the capital itself.

I’m very surprised that not one person from any of the particapating countries have written a response about the level of competition in African Football. The Europeans are running to the continent for talented players, these actions should point-out that football on the continent in a whole is being played at an elite level. FYI, 64% of the Barclays Premiership players in England are foriegn born. Also, please take look at PanAfricanSports.com,Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba’s remarks about African talent in Europe.
