Argentina beat the United Arab Emirates 4-2 in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. The game seemed like a one man show as Federico Hilaire scored a pair of goals for Argentina.
In other Group D games, Nigeria beat France 3-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw in regulation. Nigeria’s win secures them a spot in the quarter-finals but France and Argentina now have to duke it out when they meet Wednesday.
In Group C, Senegal beat Uruguay 5-2 to win its second straight match and secure their quarter-final round.
Also, Italy defeated Japan 6-3 with three Italian goals coming from Roberto Pasquali.
