Chelsea Opening Soccer Academy in Abu Dhabi
The Chelsea Football Club has announced that they will be sponsoring a training academy in Abu Dhabi, united Arab Emirates
“Peter Kenyon, the chief executive of Chelsea, has confirmed the club’s interest in a long and permanent partnership with Abu Dhabi. He is expected to arrive soon to finish the deal,” said Jamie Cunningham, the managing director of the Professional Sports Group. - GulfNews

I have a nephew who lives in abu dhabi and is obessed with playing football.He got intrested in football back in 2006 when he watched the world cup.I visited him in 2007 and was amazed how he learned to play football without any adult training him and how he has done well to control the ball and play.He is now 11 and has got good control when it comes to kick ups,headers,passing,shooting.I would like for him to join a team in abu dhabi and improve his skills.Please send me some information so i could help him further.I do have a video of him practising football. I have been playing football for the past 5 ½ years and have played for various football teams in this period. I have played for my county and was the vice-captain of my U-14 team. I was nominated for the U-14 national Ghana team but could not attend the try-outs due to injury. I have also played for the top rated club in my county. I have been the captain of my academy’s U-15 team which was being run by Mr. Bill Adams, an ex- Norwich city player. I have also attended courses conducted by Mr. David Collins also an ex- Norwich city player.
I have a great left foot, a good right foot and am known for my ability to play pin-point crosses and long balls. I have good speed, great skill and great physical presence. I have been playing as a playmaker in the center of midfield. I have also previously played on the right and left wings. I have decided to take action because my previous coaches and managers have told me that I could be a good footballer if I am given the right guidance. I have been playing at a relatively low level than that of English players. I am desperately keen to improve and think that I am ready to move to the next level.
