The coach of the Japanese National Soccer team suffered from a stroke early Friday morning inside his Tokyo home. He was watching soccer on the TV when he had the attack and was quickly rushed to the hospital. He is reported to be in the intensive care unit where he is in critical condition.

66 year-old Coach Ivica Osim, a native of Bosnia, led Japan to a 4-1 victory over Egypt in their last game on October 17. With the Olympics and other international events coming up, no one is certain if he will recover enough to continue his position as coach.
