Soccer Members of the New England Revolution Subdue Man on Flight
Some members of the MLS soccer team (not the players) the New England Revolution, were of some assistance on American Flight 725 from Boston to Las Angeles. The Man decided to take off his cloths in the bathroom and emerge naked, after being asked to put his cloths back on the man did and then tried to open the emergency exit on the plane. Members of the team then stepped in to help tie him up with secure straps.
The flight was diverted to Oklahoma City where the man will be undergoing psychiatric evaluation. I thought that after 911 every flight had security personnel on board. Well luckily there were some courageous Revolutionaries on board.
