Tevez Bid Turned Down. Was It Chelsea?
Looks like I was well on top of the news last week with my post about Jose Mourinho in Brazil supposedly checking out Carlos Tevez from Corinthians.
The new Corinthians coach Geninho has told the press that the club have turned down a £22m offer for Tevez but club owner Kia Joorabchian is being decidely coy over the identity of the mystery bidders.
Geninho said:
“Kia told me he has a very important offer for Tevez but he will do everything to keep him until June of next year.
“He is part of our project to win the Copa Libertadores next year.”
Geninho admitted he did not know which club had made the offer, saying: “Kia hasn’t told me the team.”
Certainly sounds like Chelsea now doesn’t it? Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Yawn, you got nothing better to do with your time Ged?
I thought you’d be too busy trying to pass off those 1600 “spare” Cup Final tickets knocking about Liverpool…

Very good Alan, never one to jump to cheap stereotypical jibes are you?
You done your apologising to all those you offended whilst having your hissy fit about your team being poisoned
feel a little foolish now I bet

Bore off Ged, stay on topic or don’t comment at all.
Simple enough for you?
