I guess McClaren’s decisions didn’t pay off in the England Croatia match that they lost 2-3. I predicted a lynching; time will tell.

1 opinion for Today’s Euro 2008 Qualifying Matches

McClaren deserved the sack on his decisions alone from that game never mind the fact he failed to get England to Euro 2008. Carson, a rookie keeper preferred in goal for a massive game, a lone striker in Crouch whose strength is in the air, but the best crosser of the ball in Beckham left on the bench. Ashley Cole also left on the bench with Bridge - who had a nighmare - played in favour. A catalogue of errors so it is no surprise England faield miserably on a swamp of a pitch.
